The wine maker in Tuscany who only opens his cellar for friends. The ramen shop in a small Japanese village with no English menu but a 50-year wait list.
I specialize in Italy and Japan because they're complex. You can't just show up and expect to understand them. But when you know where to look, they'll change how you think about travel.
I don't plan luxury trips. I find authentic experiences that happen to include luxury hotels.
